🐣 Wishes & your sea baby
A wish is something you’re saving up for — a LEGO set, skates, anything. When you make a wish you adopt a tiny sea baby and give them a name.
Tap Feed and your money turns into gold coins. Flick each coin into the water — it arcs through the air, splashes in, and wobbles down while your baby chases it. Land it right on them and they leap out of the water to catch it — a PERFECT! Chain perfects and the catch-chimes climb higher and higher. (Missed? No worries — the coin sinks to the sand and they trundle over and eat it anyway. And listen for the burp.) Every coin they gobble makes them grow a bit bigger:

- 🦑 Nearly all grown up
- 🎉 Fully grown! They swim off to live in your reef forever, and the money jumps back into your pool ready to buy your wish.
🪸 Your living reef
Your grown-up friends live in the reef forever — and they’re really alive in there. They swim wherever they like, get tired and rest, and each one moves in its own way: the crab scuttles along the sand, the jellyfish pulses up then sinks, the octopus whooshes along in bursts.
Things to try
- Tap the water to drop a bit of food — whoever is closest will swim over and gobble it up with little hearts.
- Press and hold anywhere and the curious ones will come and gather round your finger.
- Tap a creature to see their name, then tap the name for their fun fact. Poke the crab and it hides! Poke the pufferfish and it puffs up!
- Drag your decorations along the sand to arrange your reef exactly how you like it.
Splash points aren’t just for diving deeper — you can spend them in the Reef store on kelp, a sandcastle, a treasure chest, even a shipwreck. Spending them never makes your ocean shallower. And some things do tricks: the bubble maker really bubbles, the treasure chest glints, and the crystal glows.
🐟 Keeping everyone fed
Your reef friends get hungry over about four days. When they do, they swim very slowly and look a bit sleepy — you'll spot it straight away.
- Fish food in the Reef store fills every single friend right up. It's always on sale, so it's the cheapest thing in there.
- Tapping the water feeds them a little bit too.
- There's also a comfort pack: three cosy days where everyone is friskier, happier, and gets hungry only half as fast.
🚢 The secret Wreck Reef
Somewhere out in the deep there's a sunken ship. Collect every single decoration and every wild friend in the Reef store and it's yours — a whole second reef, right below your first one.

When you find it, the store fills up with a brand-new deep-sea set — an old barrel, a lost anchor, a ship's lantern, a ship's bell, a cannon and a sunken statue, plus seven deep-sea friends: a lanternfish, a deep jelly, a manta ray, a ribbon eel, a big lobster, a pearl oyster and a walrus.
Once you have a few reefs the page gets long. Tap a reef's name to fold it away, and tap it again to open it back up. A folded reef still shows how many friends live there, and nothing happens to them — they're just tucked out of sight while you work on a different one.
🕳️ The Cave Reef
Fill the Wreck Reef the same way — every deep-sea treasure and every deep-sea friend — and a glowing cave mouth opens in the rock. That's the third reef, and it's the strangest one so far.
Inside live the cave folk: a coral mermaid, a pearl mermaid, a reef merman, a baby kraken, a hermit crab, a blue angelfish and a cave serpent. There are cave treasures too — a giant clam, a mermaid's mirror, a singing harp, a crystal spire, a mermaid's throne and a monster's nest.
🌋 The Volcano Reef
Deeper still, the rock starts to glow. Chimneys puff black smoke, cracks in the ground shine orange, and the water is warm. Fill the Cave Reef and it's yours.
The animals down here are real, and they are strange: ghost crabs with no colour at all, tube worms that stay rooted to the rock forever, an iron snail with a shell made of metal, and a dumbo octopus with ears like an elephant.
❓ The Mystery Reef
Below the volcano, the maps run out. Nobody knows what is down there — not even the mermaids. In the store it doesn't even have a picture, just a question mark.
Fill the Volcano Reef and you'll be the first person ever to see it. We're not going to tell you what's in it. That would spoil it.
🪸 Growing your decorations
Lots of decorations can be bought again to make them bigger and better — one giant shell becomes a shell cluster, then a whole shell grotto. Look for the little level on each one in the store.
Things that do tricks
- Press and hold the bubble maker for a huge gush of bubbles — and any creature caught in the stream gets carried up and tickled!
- The crystal spins up a little whirlpool that tugs whoever swims past.
- Coral archway — tap it and it lights up! Watch closely and your friends will swim right through it, growing bigger as they come towards you or smaller as they head away.
- The shell and the treasure chest open and close, and the shipwreck rolls over now and then.
🎂 Your birthday
If you told SeaStash when your birthday is, it remembers. On the day it says happy birthday and gives you 50 splash points for your reef — just for being another year old.
And when you turn 8, it asks if you'd like the bigger version of the app, with a bit more to see and do. You can say no and stay exactly as you are.
⭐ The daily starfish
Every single day a starfish hides somewhere in your ocean. Find it and tap it for +8 splash points. A new one hides tomorrow!
🧹 Little jobs
A grown-up can post little jobs you can do to earn real money — tidying your room, feeding the pet. Tap I did it! and once a grown-up checks, the money splashes straight into your pool.

Weekly quest
Every week a new little mission appears — like “feed a wish 3 times”. Finish it for +25 splash points.

Save money at least once a week and your streak grows. Miss a whole week and the flame goes out — so keep the wave rolling!
Splash points & diving deeper
Almost everything you do earns splash points. Collect enough and you dive to a whole new part of the ocean — watch the water change around you:
🐚 Shell badges
Special one-time treasures for special moments — your first drop of money, your first sea baby, a 3-week streak, saving €50 in total… There are 19 to collect!
On the main page you'll see just your newest badge. Tap it to open the whole list. Every badge you haven't got yet tells you exactly what to do to earn it, so you always know what to aim for next.
Each new badge is also worth 10 splash points.
Some come in steps, so there's always a bigger one ahead — 3 weeks in a row, then 8, then 16, then 30. When you finally get all 19, the badge box turns gold. 🏆
🪙 Counting your treasure
Every so often, tip out your real piggy bank and tap Count my treasure. Tap each coin and note you find, and the app adds them up.
Then it tells you if it matches what SeaStash expected:
- It matches! 🎯 — brilliant looking-after of your money. Bonus splash points!
- It doesn’t match — no worries at all, it’s just a little mystery to solve. Maybe you bought something and forgot to log it, or found coins down the sofa. The app helps you sort it out.
🏦 Other money places
Some of your money might live in a bank (safe, but not in your hands) or as growing money (planted like a seed so it can slowly grow). You can sail money between places with the ⇄ Move money boat.
